Imagine having to talk about someone without having a picture of them and not knowing that person`s name. But John knew who he was looking for. He had been preaching to those who would listen for a while now and some may have grown weary of it all. Yet finally John is vindacated of their doubts and he says, There he is, thats the one I told you about. The one that the profits had written about for centuries. And even though we cant see God, we can see Him, Jesus, from the right side of the Father. It may sound confusing but he said you cant see God but you can see Jesus, who is God. To be more specific, you cant see the face of God because you wont be able to handle it. Jesus is the fulness of God yet in the form of man so we can then be justified by His death later on.
How would you discribe God to other`s ? Many people discribe God by discribing what He has done for us. What has He done for you ? He especially came down from heaven for you and me. To do something that we cant do for ourselves, bridge that gap to the Father for salvation. But He must be received into our lives before we get what we need.
"Jesus, I pray that you will speak to all that read this blog. Open their eyes and hearts. Soften hearts of those who have followed a false religion. Bring them to yourself, amen."
